Job Position: Disassembly Technician
Pay Range: $16 - $18 per hour
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:15 PM
Location: Tulsa, OK

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Disassembly Technician to join our electronics recycling team. This role is crucial in promoting responsible recycling and sustainability efforts by safely dismantling electronic devices and components. The Disassembly Technician supports e-waste processing and material recovery operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Disassembly and Recycling:
- Equipment Breakdown: Disassemble a variety of electronic equipment using hand and power tools, including computers, laptops, servers, test equipment (large and small), and mobile devices.
- Component Sorting: Identify and separate components (circuit boards, hard drives, power supplies, metals, plastics) for recycling or reuse as instructed.
- Safety Handling: Adhere to safety protocols when handling hazardous or sensitive materials such as batteries, toner, and mercury.
- Quality Assurance: Meet or exceed daily performance targets and maintain high-quality standards.
Material Handling and Documentation:
- Material Preparation: Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing materials for downstream processing or shipment.
- Record Keeping: Accurately log quantities and types of processed materials.
- Workflow Collaboration: Work with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in electronics recycling, warehouse, or manufacturing environments is beneficial.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with basic hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers) and small power tools.
- Basic understanding of electronic components is helpful but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
- Ability to recall details accurately and follow instructions precisely.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the workday.
- Reliable and punctual, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Environment: Recycling tasks are performed in a safety-sensitive industrial warehouse.
- Safety Gear: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required, including eye safety glasses and steel-toe boots.
- Dress Code: Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted for safety reasons.
- Screening: Must pass a background check and initial and ongoing random drug tests.
