Job Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Owasso, OK 74055
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $28.00/hr (DOE + Shift Differential)
Shift: 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Overtime as needed)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Owasso, OK. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC systems to ensure the efficient operation of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Inspect equipment for potential issues and complete necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems in processing equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance logs.
- Replace defective parts, motors, and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with production teams to quickly address equipment malfunctions and minimize downtime.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Implement upgrades and modifications to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards in all maintenance activities.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and update records accordingly.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.
- Serve as a backup Refrigeration Technician as needed, assuming all relevant responsibilities.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Experience with PLCs, frequency controls, direct current devices, temperature controls, and transducers.
- Expertise in high-voltage AC (480V, 220V, 120V), low control voltage AC (24V, 12V, 5V), multi-voltage AC/DC, and multi-amp AC/DC systems.
- Prior experience in a meat processing environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is helpful but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working in high-noise and industrial environments.
- Standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
