Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in Lathe and Mill operations to join our Tulsa-based team. This position involves operating precision machining equipment in a climate-controlled facility, producing fusion and fintube machines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC Lathe, Vertical Mill, and Manual Lathe machines while ensuring compliance with blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.

Note: Candidates must pass a CNC test before being submitted for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure parts, fixtures, and tools onto machines.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, symbols, and tolerances to ensure specifications are met.

• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control.

• Perform setups, including:

  • Loading fixtures and tools.

  • Selecting and loading CNC programs.

  • Setting work coordinates.

  • Measuring and adjusting parts using offsets.

• Identify and select correct materials for production.

• Meet assigned run times and maintain production efficiency.

• Troubleshoot and resolve operational or programming issues as they arise.

Job Requirements

• Must own or be willing to purchase the minimum required tools and a locking toolbox.

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC Lathe, Vertical Mill, and Manual Lathe machines.

• Proven and consistent work history in the CNC machining field.

• Strong ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools.

• Experience in performing machine setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting independently.

Physical Requirements

• 95% of the work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while operating machines.

• Must be able to move and handle parts weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Lifting devices should be used when possible, but some manual lifting, pushing, and pulling may be required due to confined spaces in and around machines.
