Job description

Role & responsibilities :

Project Management: Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Design and Analysis: Develop and review mechanical designs, specifications, and drawings. Perform engineering calculations and simulations.
Installation and Commissioning: Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Oversee maintenance activities, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and implement corrective actions.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all mechanical engineering work complies with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce safety standards and practices within the plant.

Preferred candidate profile :

Education: Diploma/Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the cement or heavy industrial sector.
